I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere at the hotel. The decor throughout was beautiful and gave it a lovely homely feel. It was a joy to relax in the hotel's general areas, especially the comfortable lounge with its soft armchairs and warm fireplace. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The hallways and stairs were well-lit and easy to navigate, and there was even an elevator available for those who needed it. It was reassuring to know that the hotel took the needs of older guests into consideration.

The only small improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people would be to have a dedicated staff member available to assist with any specific needs or inquiries. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and it would have been helpful to have someone with more experience and expertise available to offer guidance.

The room at Cumbria Court in Windermere was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The bathroom with the bath or shower gave me options for a relaxing soak or a quick refresh. As a solo traveler, it was the perfect size for me.

Personally, I found the bathroom with only a shower a bit inconvenient, but others may still enjoy it.

the flat was spacious, clean, and met all our needs. We loved the convenient location, as it was close to the train and bus station. We didn't even need to use our car, opting to take the bus everywhere. Already booked for next year!
